I don't know what planet you're on but owning a PS2 wasn't exactly an exclusive club.

You've used a bad example. Sure Playstation missed out on the first game but that was sorted when we got the Collection. Kingdom hearts so far has 6 games, Sure you could say 4 are spin offs but they are canon to the story. Now given the 1.5 Remix that is coming out next month and the 2.5 Remix that will come out next year for anyone who didn't play the 4 other games not on ps2 (RE:Chain of memories was never released in EU) gives them a chance to play and get all the story for the final game in the current storyline. Also in my quote i said
    "
KH3 should be a PS4 exclusive and since its meant to finish off the current storyline, KH4 would be an ideal place to let X180 players join in. That or release the collections for 360."
I don't see anything wrong with what i said.

If PS4 got Skype then I would be beyond surprised, and we're all done with the PS Network/Xbox Live battle now, it's been fairly clear which service is better for the longest time now, obviously Sony "180'd" their fanbase when they decided you had to pay monthly for multiplayer, or is that totally fine and not a rip off anymore? I'm not really sure what the Sony fanboy mindset is anymore.
For Skype we will see. PSP and Vita both have Skype and require no fee or subscription to use it unlike XBL.
Are we? PS+ was put up as an optional service which a lot of people like myself jumped on to get a bunch of games for free each month, £30 a year for over £300 worth of stuff, i got my moneys worth within the first month. Sure it sucks for people to pay £30-40 a year to play online but when you add in all the stuff you get back in return i doubt anyone will complain. And if you don't play online anyway then you don't need it can still use all your services like netflix without a subscription, Unlike XBL. I know a lot of 360 users who were jealous of PS+, Like i stated before I'm not a fanboy, but keep calling me one if it makes you feel better.

Also on the free games note, that's still to be decided in terms of Xbox One, in the past few months Microsoft have given quite a few free games, with more to come, and unlike Playstation, they're *actually* free and you keep them after your gold subscription runs out.
*Up until Xbox 180 launch, Also I'll always have a PS+ subscription as it's a fantastic deal, and anyway once i complete a game or platinum it i don't need to play it again and if i do it won't be for a while. I buy all my games i want to play and support, PS+ just gives me games i don't mind playing once like Sleeping Dogs.

Previously posted complaining about all the features you have to pay for on Xbox Live but you pay £40 a year for PS+ anyway, meaning regardless you'd be getting the exact same features.
I bought PS+ when the only features were cloud storage, free games, discounts on the store. All the Ps4 does is add in the requirement to play online. Which isn't that big a deal when you look at the benefits you get from it and everything else the PS4 has to offer doesn't need a PS+ subscription. And i only payed £30 because i bought it when it was on offer which makes it even more worth while for me.

Anyway, these console wars are getting silly, at the end of the day, buy the one you want, deal with the fact other people might want something else, I'm sticking with Xbox because I prefer the controller, I don't care what stupid "limitations" they put on it because at the end of the day, I have a 100Mb/s internet connection, I have the money to pay the £40 a year for Xbox Live, so I don't care, it doesn't effect me, I might buy the PS4 one day but until a better third party controller becomes available I just don't care.
Okay you do that, enjoy Titanfall. That game looks good, i look forward to playing it in a couple years time.

    *Up until Xbox 180 launch

Microsoft own Skype now, so I would be very surprised if they allowed their main competitor to continue to use it in future consoles.

And they have only announced that it will be running up until the launch, they have stated that they haven't finalised plans yet, depending on how things go it could mean Games for Gold will continue it's service.

I'm a little wary of the Xbox One, mainly because of all the backlash I've heard about it. Then again, I haven't done any research lately to see what's changed, so that's MY fault. I'll get around to it eventually. I'm a little aggravated because I'll have to buy one if I want to finish playing the Halo series and I'm a wee bit obsessed with that game.
That girl is like a firecracker... Pretty to look at, but will burn the hell out of you if handled the wrong way.

Could always co-op it with a mate at there's?

Also for i have a question about the 180 for anyone to answer.
Am i right in thinking all these TV features are pointless if you don't connect a cable box? speaking from a UK point most TV's come with built in free view and there will be no way to attach that to it. So for the majority of people who don't have cable in there bedrooms (thinking about children, students, flat mates etc) will miss out? or am i out of touch and do kids have cable in there bedrooms now?

Not a dig was just something i thinking about from a UK point.

Pretty sure you do have to have a cable box yeah. Xbox TV will only be available in North America at launch anyway.

Xbox One will work without Kinect:

Question: Since Kinect must be plugged in for the Xbox One to function, what happens if your Kinect breaks? Like if it falls off the top of your TV onto a hardwood floor or something? Will the console cease to function?

WHITTEN: Xbox One is designed to work with Kinect plugged in. It makes gaming better in many ways – from the ability to say “Xbox On” and get right to your personalized homescreen, to the ability to control your TV through voice, Smartglass and more. Kinect allows you to search for your content, instantly move between games and your personalized dash and more with just your voice. Kinect helps you pick up and play by automatically knowing which controller you have in your hands. No more need to interrupt your friends game or navigate through multiple UI screens to sign in and tell the system which controller you are holding. It will even bind the controller to the console if its currently unbound – no searching for special buttons! Of course – these are just a few of the system wide benefits of having Kinect. Games use Kinect in a variety of amazing ways from adding voice to control your squad mates to adding lean and other simple controls beyond the controller to full immersive gameplay. That said, like online, the console will still function if Kinect isn’t plugged in, although you won’t be able to use any feature or experience that explicitly uses the sensor.

People expect a Kinectless version to be announced at gamescon with a price drop.

But all joking aside. How can you want an Xbox when the company who makes it has no faith in there product? Bad marketing and it's good to see some people in comment sections saying they don't trust Micro$oft will all there lies now.

It annoys me that Microsoft are trying to pander to all the people that wouldn't have bought their console in the first place. The always online stuff would have been great, all it needed was tweaking for special circumstance where internet isn't an option, instead they just take the whole system out. This isn't as bad, but they better leave Kinect bundled in the console.
