Currently on approach into Gatwick with an 84 year old controlling the APP position. Well that's what @Calum0812; told me.
Flying from Leeds Bradford to Alicante.

I used to fly on VATSIM a lot, but I've not flown on VATSIM now for a good... 6 months, probably longer. Going to get back into FSX first, practice some ILS and VOR to VOR flying first, so far so good so hopefully will be back on VATSIM in a few days, I managed to find my old folder with all my charts and ILS information in, which is a huge bonus!

Gettin' real tired of your antics ATC, Real tired.
And thats a 747. Sigh.
Did you have a safe landing? Any links on how to program the flight auto pilot etc. like ste by step guide?I used to fly on VATSIM a lot, but I've not flown on VATSIM now for a good... 6 months, probably longer. Landing was... OK, Forgot to switch from GPS to NAV for the ILS so had to go-around and approach again.
As to getting the auto pilot to work, set up your route in the route planner, I use VRoute to plan my route, then export it as a file then import it into FSX, Once you have done that, its a simple as taking off, switching to GPS and hitting VOR LOC, it will follow the route, obviously set up the altitude and speed and off you go.
As for ILS Landing, put the runway bearing into corse, and tune the ILS Frequency to NAV1, wait till you are roughly on the path of the runway and switch from GPS to NAV and hit APP then land, turn off auto pilot when you are roughly 200 ft from the runway.
Very basic guide, any questions feel free to ask, thats just a basic guide in the default 737, its much more complicated in planes like the PMDG.
Ahh right, thank you so much! Do you need to buy the full version? Is this the correct site?Landing was... OK, Forgot to switch from GPS to NAV for the ILS so had to go-around and approach again.
