They had massive falling outs with Sulake when Jason (UK Office) was managing the fansite programme at the time. They got filtered and all sorts and it seems there's been issues with them ever since.

I think they were allowed back after that but then there were so many complaints about them and when they leaked the password to give out hundreds of silver trophies they were removed again

Yeah I think their was a brief moment of them returning but people complained about them in general and how they were attacking other fansites.

ThisHabbo being denied official status is justified. For months, years I dare say all they did to gain listeners was host fake giveaways almost every hour of the day as well as be abusive to listeners on air. It was brought to the attention of Grecian9 and he responded appropriately.

Plus the whole silver trophy leak pretty much confirmed the level of professionalism over at TH.

All this attacking of Powertoo is completely wrong and I feel sorry for her.

thishabbo shouldn't be allowed back and have no right to protest lol and I don't think habbosecrets should get it when their main function is to provide answers to quests. Can understand their fustration though... tumblr sites getting official status?! That is a joke

I can see why Habbo wouldn't want Habbo secrets official anyway. They basically take the fun out of competitions. You can say "if you don't want it ruined, don't look" but the temptation when you're struggling is too high just to go on the site and see a one word answer for the prize, which is what I do.

If habbo made it official, people would be like ooo can check this for all the answers and it would be more advertised and all fun would be taken out of Habbo quests and games, which is kind of already is because everyone uses HS anyway and the majority of people just blitz through the quests because they are fed the answers.

There too many other fansites people can turn to even they blackout. The only unique one that has had a black out is Habbosecrets which people will miss, but it could be replaced.

Agreed. People use the site not because they want to cheat, but because everyone else does. I would rather find the answers to quests without any help but I end up looking at HabboSecrets because everyone else does. Why should I complete the quests the legit way when everyone else takes a mere few seconds to look up a site that will give them the answer for free? I think many people are of this train of thought.

I think Powertoo is correct in denying this site official status. While the site does help the people struggling with quests, it also takes the fun and challenge out of them. Supporting this type of website only encourages the leaking of answers. While it's not possible to eliminate these sites, it IS possible for staff to ignore them and refuse them official status.
