Dinnerbone announced 1.7 will be released Friday (tomorrow). Exciting news

There's tons of updates, going to be one of my favorite versions released in a long while!

Alright, Matt and I will try and make a decision tonight I guess - but no promises. The server will most likely be reset when 1.7 comes out (that's almost a certainty) and the newly appointed manager(s) will then have free roam on whatever they want to do with it. Then we have someone to blame when it messes up

We're going to try and move over as little as we can, as a new fresh for the new management would be better. If anything does need porting over though, it'd probably be better to speak to myself or Matt, so the server doesn't **** up. BUT THAT'S IN A FEW DAYS HOPEFULLY, SO IT'S FINE.

@Skynus; @xxMATTGxx; Could me and Simonlsimon get our little area ported to the new world. We have several different people in the little community area we have built so it would be lovely if we could get that done.

The area we need ported is inside the block Boxes in the following screenies. Warp to the general area is /warp towny.

Thank you Matt & Tom, Like Fox said if we could have our village moved over that would be amazing. All the dedication that we put in over the last months we have spent a lot of time on the server and we both have plenty more ideas to expand and set up little bits around the current world (which are now on hold until the reset).

Well if we're getting things ported over... Can I have all of my things I've ever built sent over? And can I get all my chests etc. from old town spawn restored?

Might be worth seeing if you can port over just items in peoples chests so only the chests get ported over, closest to a clean start other than shipping over items.

That way they log on, get their items, boom.
