I have a bus pass. I smile politely and occasionally get called back because I'm too quick and they don't trust me. Psh.

When I used to use the bus It'd be a mixture.

Whilst at School/Sixth Form it'd be "40 please" as it was a 40p bus pass.

Whilst at college for the first year it was "Rotherham day saver please" as it was cheaper than 2 singles.

Whilst at college for the 2nd year I'd just show them my free pass.

I always say student to where I'm going. I used to say the price but prices are always changing so I stopped to avoid embarrassment

But in Canada when you on the bus there's like a machine and you drop your money into it . but you dont have to tell the bus driver to drop you off at a certain place because we have bus routes so like bus stops at certain places with http://wvs.topleftpixel.com/photos/2...op_wide_01.jpg those at it .. if u got anymore question feel free to ask

We have bus stops in the UK and you can either ring a bell to let the driver know you want to get off at the next stop or get up and speak to him saying so. The reason a lot of people might tell the driver where you are going is because the prices are different depending on the destination.

ahh see it's all one price . but here there's like a machine that will say the next stop and u can push the button or pull the cord and It makes a noise so the driver knows. I'll show what a bus looks like here

oh and i forgot to add that beside the number is some times a letter "A - E " im not sure what the A,B,C,D means but i know the "E" means "Express" so it will only stop at main intersections and not the little stops in between
