What console are you getting?

Majority of my friends play Fifa and Cod which i have no interest in, and i enjoy games for there stories, why i like games like MGS, Uncharted, Last of us, Kingdom hearts, Infamous etc. GTA and Last of us have been the only 2 games I've actually invested time online with within the past 2 years and there just as fun with randoms.

Have ordered Killzone as my launch game online for that looks decent.

To be fair, it does matter on what your friends actually play. I mean, I prefer to play multiplayer with people I know, but if they're going to play My Little Pony or something, then I might as well play my stuff by myself

Exactly I've made plenty of friends while playing games i like and via trophy sites. I don't see it as a big loss i was PS3 on my lonesome for a number of years until good number of my friends jumped back to PS for the exclusives.

Journey was another good game i played this year actually where you play with a stranger online unable to chat.

To be honest I probably won't get one for launch and If I do get one it will be a good few months afterwards. I'm only currently playing on the Xbox 360 for GTA V and most of the other time I play games on my PC. We shall see though!

Same. I may consider it when the second generation PS4 comes out (or whatever they call the smaller, refined models which have ironed out the bugs).

No. I got a Ps3 when all my mates got 360's. Couldn't care what console my mates got its all about the games.

It is all about the games, you are right, but I think in this generation it is going to be about what your friends are getting. Simply because the massive best-selling games are coming to all consoles, and, as I said before, both consoles are almost exactly the same.

I'd say you're in a minority there. I certainly chose my console because of what my friends got, and they did the same.
If they came to me tomorrow and said "hey we're all getting PS4s now", I'd cancel my xbox pre-order and get a PS4 on order straight away!

Yeah, like I said, everything changes in this new generation.

I still disagree, If all my friends said they were jumping over to Wii U to play Mario Kart and Smash i wouldn't just follow the heard as much as i like MK/Smash i prefer games that come out on PS. So I'm not going to sacrifice my enjoyment just so i can play with a few of my friends. I'm just fortunate that barring 1 friend everyone is getting a Ps4.

Sony also confirmed today that uncharted is coming to ps4 which should be good. I'll probably pick up a ps4 when more of the games I'm interested in have been released.

Mine arrived today at 2pm. Was a bit of a disaster because virgin media went down in my area just before it arrived which meant I couldn't do the day one update which was required to use it.

Really enjoying it so far though. The voice commands are super useful.
