Habbo Campaigns this week (Dr. Who etc.)

This week many fans and Habbo players have been anticipating Dr. Who's 50th anniversary. The Day of the Doctor is fast approaching and what better way to celebrate with a return of old Sci-Fi favourites and competitions?

Sulake has been busy this week, giving fansites and email and a little information behind the activities that will be happening in the coming weeks.

First off though, we do start with the Dr. Who anniversary, this won't be the biggest campaign we've seen Habbo do, but again the Sci-Fi favourites will return! As Dr. Who. is a television programme, and the Day of the Doctor will enter cinemas, Habbo has decided that they will celebrate it with none other than a video competition! This will give budding filmmakers the chance to show off their skills in both editing and acting. No doubt there will be some sort of prize for this too.

Further on we will see a global movie campaign, but currently we don't have too much information regarding this, only what it will include. I hope you like new furniture as that's on the cards with new posters for your Habbo rooms. In addition to this, live events will be coming, which sparks discussion whether celebrity visits will make a triumphant return!

Finally, as many of you will know it's Thanksgiving this month and what better way to spend it than on Habbo? Stuff you face with delicious food and then relax by staring at your computer screen as the campaign will feature a whole week of events! Games will be apparent throughout the week, but running alongside that will be an interesting badge design competition - I wonder what we need to base it on?

I find it really tough to sit down and watch DW without being bored.

i really wish i could get in to doctor who (no inappropriate jokes pls) but i just never find the appeal of it. otherwise i would be going crazy for something like this.
