i really wish i could get in to doctor who (no inappropriate jokes pls) but i just never find the appeal of it. otherwise i would be going crazy for something like this.

Have you tried watching it from the start of new Who? A large part of the appeal is the plotline that runs through the whole show, obscure references, trying to guess what's coming next. If you just watch a random episode, I can imagine it would be hard to enjoy.
