Well, making it a 'You have 25 minutes to vote' thing means many people will miss out on voting And if people get to the thread with only a few minutes before the poll closes, they're more likely to vote for the person they like the most since they can't listen to all entries.

I'm not annoyed or anything, I just think in the future it'd be better to have a longer time to vote. Why was the voting period so short?
