A lot of people faint and still do it again. You shouldn't be afraid of donating just because of the possibility that you might faint

i think it's more that i wouldn't even be able to bring myself to go anywhere to near doing it without feeling ridiculously sick

Thanks you, seems I can give it and because I'm male I can do it more regularly than females (4 times a year as opposed to 3) - might go about doing it then

To update myself, registered about an hour ago to go and donate 1 day before my birthday in February

I won't due to the fact that I don't meet criteria over here.
Main point being anyone who's lived in England at a specific time can't donate as their blood might be contaminated with mad cow disease.. But other than that you have to be over a certain weight which I'm not and I have anaemia so I can't because of that either.

I always said I would once I turned 16, but I haven't yet mostly because no one is interested in doing it with me or two people who I know do donate, can't anymore

In the future I would really like to yes.
