Most people are until it happens, with anything. Okay, the security could be better - but at the end of the day everyone agreed to the terms & conditions (whether they read them or not), most should be aware of the rules and whether they thought they would be punished or not doesn't change that.

When you break rules, punishment tends to follow. With it occurring on such a large scale also, it's not particularly hidden well.

I'm banned as well and I could careless. It's just habbo, but lets be real though.. if you were in those peoples situations youd be saying otherwise, you'd be begging staff to unban you. But I'm sure if half, if not most were not aware and would of leaped at this opportunity so don't go running your mouths, specially about Sovia, she's kind hearted no need to attack her anonymously, but thats typical of habbo players. If they banned people who took advantage of the goldbar (1 free if you purchased 5) glitch, a glitch which didn't require the usage of external software, imagine a glitch like this that required to change the external variables! I saw this coming, when my friend Elisya told me about this glitch I said to her to be careful because if the tech staff notices it, there wouldbe a mass ban.

She's now banned forever, appealed and still hasn't got an answer. I feel so sorry for those who lost their accounts, but in the the other side, it was kinda obvious the staff was going to do some drastic thing to keep the monetary leaks away.

Now, it's also Sulake's fault for not patching this after the offer ended.

I don't know what kind of people you hang around with but most of us don't actively use third party software or would 'leap at the opportunity to do so'

Sovia is barely mentioned in this thread too and when she is no one has attacked her and you can see our accounts, this is not ask.fm nothing is happening anonymously.

Many people were ignorant to the fact that they would be punished, it wouldn't be fair to perm ban everyone for exploiting something that was made possible by the site itself. Let this be a lesson for Sulake (or whoever owns Habbo right now) that they should buff up security on their site.

Isn't there a clause that if you notice an exploit you are meant to report it, not take advantage of it?

Either or, third party software is pretty definitive, regardless of the site's security the offenders still broke that agreement.
