    Police investigating the disappearance of three-year-old Mikaeel Kular have found a body and detained a person, understood to be his mother Rosdeep.

    It was updated around 2am about how they found a body and someone was detailed, the identity of the detainee has only just been announced and is believed to be the boy's mother.

    When they said there was absolutely no evidence of anything, it reminded me of that Shannon Matthews case... Strange.

    Such a shame, there was an air of optimism that he would just be found somewhere. Like he left on a miniature journey similar to the film Baby's Day Out.

    So was the mother not allowed to see him and therefore took him, or did she too go missing at some point to dispose of the body? It seems a bit unsure at the moment, but it is a new, ongoing case.

    A shame but not unexpected as most of it didn't really add up. Despite that, I once snuck out the house as a 3-4 year old and went on a little adventure (most of it's a blur though, some lady spotted us walking, offered us breakfast and rang the police so we were out the whole night) so it is possible but I had help to do that and there was no way that kid could get out of his block of flats on his own.
