Woohoo!! Now people can concentrate on Habbo. Not the third party game. >.<
They have posted a new article on the Habbo blog http://blog.habbo.com/2014/01/29/au-revoir-game-center/
lmao paul la fos brilliant idea. Glad they are taking them away. Never liked the idea from the beginning and they didn't fit in with the habbo feel at all.
Surprised they're even taking Snowstorm away, seeing as that's been on Habbo for years... but the new one didn't do it justice.
FAQ https://help.habbo.com/entries/40701...sing-Down-FAQ:
By now you will have heard that the game center is closing its doors soon. Read on for answers to questions you may have.
I enjoyed playing those games. Why are you closing them?
The decision to close down the Game center is a part of an overall plan to improve the Habbo experience. After reviewing feedback from users, we found that although many of the third party games were very successful, they were seen as distractions to some players due to their varied graphical styles.
I’m still seeing the game center ingame. When is it closing?
The game center shuts down on 31 March. You’ll still be able to play games in there until then.
Will all games close or just the 3rd party ones?
All games that you can currently find the game center will close on 31 March. That includes Snowstorm, Fast Food, Habbo Speedway and Habbo Pix.
What about all the coins I spent on power ups and stuff for the games I play? Will I get those back?
Sorry, no. We made sure we notified everyone a couple of months ahead of time so that any credits or purchased game add-ons can be spent before the center closes.
Will there be any replacement for the games that are leaving?
Not as such, but we’ll keep your Habbo experience fresh with more fun activities around the hotel, competitions and lots of new furni.
I want to keep playing It Girl and I’m a huge fan of World of Zombies. Is there any way I can keep playing them?
You can still play ItGirl, Tetrablok, Permia Duels, World of Zombies, Nova Raider, Streetz, and HeroZero directly on the game providers’ sites. To find a game provider site, search for the game name online.
Can I keep using my HeroZero account that I had on Habbo to play?
No. If you want to continue playing any of the game center games mentioned above, you will have to set up a new account on the game provider’s site. See it as a chance to reinventing yourself![]()
BRING BACK SNOWSTORM! I seriously demand it. (after 31st march)
The day I get to 200 in Ping Pong II is the day my life is complete.
Looks like Remode is actually closing it's door (well as what the company is at the moment)
