The rooms should have a seating area that EVERYONE can access from the queue, a host area for the HOST ONLY (No friends), a queue and the game area.
No, the room should be designed in whichever way the host wants to design it, not be told they can't have a habboxvip area, or allowed to let others into the host area (only exception being a game that involves dice, in which case the host shouldn't be an idiot and have them self isolated from the other people in the host area so no-one can roll the dice except the host).
Having an area which everyone knew the phrase was 'habboxvip' and if anyone else asked 99% of the time someone in the round would tell them the code (alternatively put it on stickies) was fine for the countless years that it was used.
Having themselves in their own little area as a rule was scrapped as soon as I became the managerNo, the room should be designed in whichever way the host wants to design it, not be told they can't have a habboxvip area, or allowed to let others into the host area (only exception being a game that involves dice, in which case the host shouldn't be an idiot and have them self isolated from the other people in the host area so no-one can roll the dice except the host).

!
And no one's denied to come into the area, it just opens it up more to players that are new to habbox and that used to be unaware of old keyword. I've seen myself the amount of people ignored in the past when asking the keyword to get in. (Accidently of course)
I'm not sure what the problem is if all you have to do is use the exit keyword then enter the VIP by it being open or by a teleport. New users will more than likely know instantly how to get in rather than a host error ignoring them.
If you ever feel a host is doing something wrong or affecting the players in the room, feel free to PM me and I'll sort it out.

The day I get to 200 in Ping Pong II is the day my life is complete.
Then add it to a sticky in the room (which iirc is against the rules not to have a sticky with explanations etc on it?) saying exit to get back to the end of the line or habboxvip for entry to the host area
Also, just for the record, there used to be a rule where hosts could only have host/vip areas had to be... something like 10x5 squares. I also scrapped thatHaving themselves in their own little area as a rule was scrapped as soon as I became the manager. Even in my event room I don't have my own area

Well whoever made that should have been fired.
Before open VIP areas were made, or at least a habbo teleporter to get to them, I certainly saw lots of staff and only a few new people to habbox. Nowadays, especially in the likes of Shonly's events, I always see new people in the VIP areas chatting away. There seems to be less staff, but maybe I'm imaging that because there's more new people coming into them. I think it makes the newer people feel a bit more welcome to the community. But when it comes to rules on VIP sizes and personal host areas, that's just far too strict in my opinion and I got rid of it.
Oh and I probably haven't been the most clear in my posts. To be fair, HabboxVIP isn't actually banned. When Hayden was the manager, the rule was that you should have an open VIP area. But he mentioned as long as you have the said open VIP area that people can access without the wired, HabboxVIP isn't banned -- but it is somewhat preferred to not have it. I haven't changed that rule at all yet (and yet doesn't mean I plan to!)
Considering no one's really done that, I don't know what'd happen. If it'd have a bad effect, good effect or no effect, the the yet would depend on that, as no one's really done this.
