I dont really like the phrase 1 night stand, it seems to me more of an insult to the person you're refering to more than anything, my definition of it would be like having sex with someone drunk once

I don't really see any of my experiences as one night stands even though by that definition they probably are

I just find it harsh to refer to someone as a one night stand lmao

One night stands don't class if you're friends, that would be friends with benefits. One night stands in my opinion is when two people, don't know each other in anyway whatsoever, meet at a bar/club or maybe even a mutual friendly get together (however they'd have to be friends with someone you're not friends with) find a mutual physical attraction to each other, they could be drunk, alcohol always encourages that, they bump the uglies, they might wake up next to each other the next day but usually someone leaves right afterwards. & you do not keep in contact. HENCE it being a ONE night stand.

No, I have never had a one night stand, nor do I ever wish to. I find it too sleezy for my taste.

Get with them again a few days later, with still no relationship intentions, then that'd class as friends with benefits instead imo

sleeping with someone that you have no feelings towards and then leaving the next morning and not sleeping with them again. it doesnt have to mean you dont know the person because i know a lot of people who have had one night stands and they have been acquaintances beforehand
