I'm really surprised that people didn't see this update coming sooner, it was only a matter of time really. I'm not that fussed they got rid, but it's a shame because casinos have played a massive part on the habbo economy and the community in general for ages, even before i joined around 04. They are what keep the demand of the majority of rares and supers so high. Casino owners, players etc make up at least a third of the current users on habbo and the
last thing habbo should be doing is putting off more people from playing this game, at least until they get the population back up.

I'm 50/50 with this. If I had the choice id want it to stay but it's kinda cool to have such a big change. If I still only played habbo for casinos then id be annoyed but since I can't afford to and just don't in general I'm not too fussed. Might be quite good to see what people come up with now instead

uhm. i do recall several occasions where furniture value dropped drastically within 24 hours. gamblers shouldn't be compensated anyway, it's not like they forced you into dealing/betting... the merge was forced upon us, hence the compensation.

What does habbo not forcing you to bet / gamble have anything to do with this? Many people own thrones and other rare items and do not bet. Yes I'm a better, but not everyone bets yet they can still own thrones and all that?

The ban of gambling was also forced upon us. Causing those who own thrones and other rares, those who gamble and do not gamble, to lose a LOT of coins.
