It's a bit too broad of a term that only describes a set of symptoms and not a set of causes, it's like saying someone has a cold when in reality it could be bacteria, virus, dehydration or even a purely psychologically caused manifestation of symptoms. I'm not saying ADHD doesn't exist, it's just not a particularly helpful label.
