Major Event Suggestion?

Hey Guys!
I think Habbox should hold a country music festival, I think it would be a fun and exciting way for people to
experience country music, as well as do some creative events.

I was thinking, Country themed rooms and events? So horses, farms, Hay etc. DJ's play country music for the
duration of the festival (24 hours?). I personally would happily help fund rooms as well as create some of my
own and I'm sure many others will try as well. Perhaps even the best country themed room/house competition
as well? Your imagination is the limit! So any opinions on my idea? Leave a comment

You could even create a music-genre festival.
24 hours per genre, so country, rock, r&b, etc. would have themed rooms for each day. :}

This is a good idea and doesn't have to be restricted to just country music. There are a lot of music genres that aren't as popular around habbox as they might be elsewhere and it's certainly worth promoting them and opening the users up to something unfamiliar for once. Allows for collaboration between all departments, some community interaction (room building, new types of events, themed comps, etc) so will be good fun for all.

Building on this, I'd also like to suggest that habboxlive add to their 'song of the week' by having some sort of format that allows DJs and listeners to vote on a select genre each week/month and pget tiring hearing chart music all the time from certain DJs so this could perhaps be an opportunity for them to expand thelay one or two songs from that genre in each show. It does ir song pool and open themselves up to a new kind of listener. also - talkshows pls. proper ones though, with people that can actually hold a conversation.

I like this idea, themes are always useful so that it doesn't just descend into the usual blandness of events

There's often a separate early summer habbox event so this would be a neat candidate for it. Kind of fits as well since Jin is like Mr Festival.

I think a 'Music Festival' event would be cool.
But prime time would be during HxSS.

And I don't know if we could string it out for a major event... Pod Racing would just be Pod Racing with a bit of hay in it...
