They can, but drugs seem to have more of an affect.

You only have to listen to those who took drugs to realise it's destroyed their mind. Russell Brand is a prime example, the man can barely talk, retain attention or form coherent sentences. Ozzy Osborne with the drink and drugs is another example. If you think that's something to aspire to then that's upto you and i'm fine with that - provided the rest of society isn't charged for such stupidity.

Wanting to have fun or happiness in life isn't the same as going out and ruining your mind.

If the only happiness or fun somebody can have in life is getting doped up, then what a sad life they lead.

Should be legalised. There's nothing worse about it than any other commonly used and legal drugs, nicotine, alcohol etc.

But seriously, It should be legalised, fair enough some things in it are bad for you but... Alcohol is basically a poison and that's legal?

I got B's and A's in my GCSE's (Apart from history, **** that), 3 A's and a C at A level and I've passed my first year of uni so far (without exam grades) with 85%... So

It's already bad with alcohol, nicotine, analgesics, etc. And you want one more option to be available? - There is already too much deaths, sadness, pain for users and for people around them. That's just non sense, you can't use alcohol as excuse to turn everything legal.

Tiny minority of drug users become drug ABusers (totally different thing) and again can happen with any activity as literally everything we do affects our brain activity - doing a workout releases endorphins to flood your brain the same way that certain drugs do, it's just different ways of getting the same or similar outcome. Brand is also a terrible example as he's exceptionally eloquent and is rather famous for his wordplay
