habbos should be issued a refund for what they have paid through the marketplace/trading. it was visible in the marketplace, and even if you heard about it, doesn't mean you're aware of it being stolen. it was publicly available and i have bought "glitched" furni in the past like the sf_walls just to see what it looks like, same if you bought the recent picnic swing.

if an online shop put up goods for the wrong price, i'm sure news would spread about the item being a bargain. the shop would either respect the deal or refund the money without sending the product. they wouldn't take their money and argue it was clearly due to an pricing error and you deserve to lose out for attempting to "scam" them.

people buying these obviously wanted to be part of this "drama" and own something rare and unique, who can blame them for buying it?

I do agree with Alex Habbo shouldn't not refund or issue some sort of conter-refund because the Habbos could be unaware of the situation or knowing about it but not knowing about the furni they bought!

Guys you all need to stop. If this were another company they would take responsibility and not cause any dilemma and respectfully return the credits to their users. But since this is Habbo, they want to put the blame on the users the same exact way they did with the mute. There's nothing else to it.

I can't see any reason why they would, as they usually send prizes as gifts which I assume you can do without a trading pass?

If a TV is accidentally for sale at £20 instead of £200 and loads of people buy them, you're not going to suddenly have your TV taken away from you as well as losing your £20. Having said that, Habbo furniture credits etc is virtual and owned by Sulake with no monetary value, there's nothing saying they have to reimburse those who purchased theatre_ furniture from the marketplace but that doesn't determine whether it'd be the right thing to do or not.

Hey guys am gonna go rob a bank via a bomb threat and use the money to buy drugs, it's the bank's fault because they should secure themselves more against criminals [p.s. the security they have at the moment is as good as it gets]. Absolutely not the criminal's fault in any way shape or form. Overexaggerated example but you understand the point.
You're focusing on the hacker rather than what was originally being discussed; the buyer of the theatre_ furniture in the marketplace. Let's say you use your stolen money to buy products at some shops.. are you suggesting the people who unknowingly accepted your stolen money are in the wrong?

I mean, its very unlikely someone is to search theatre_ on the marketplace and innocently buy a piece without knowing about the situation.

You can see furni on the marketplace without searching for it.

    Not online very often
