It's still manager discretion but usually 'thanks for your time' is added. I always found that funny really especially those people that resigned straight after joining, 'thanks for wasting my time' would be more accurate Zebbadi's a new manager though so that probably explains that omission.

I heard there was going to be a clear out of inactive staff last month (in rare values) but idk what happened to that.

In my experience, it's the same as what people have already said; 'failing' trialists failed due to lack of activity more than anything else, and often as a result of just vanishing from existence. If someone had potential then I'd usually extend their trial another week or two and allow them more time to get used to the role and build upon their performance so far .

    Not online very often

It's up to the manager posting the announcement how they word it, but to make it slightly nicer they should use the style that Logan mentioned.

They apply to work and they know that they have a requirement to meet to pass their trial if not then they are being announced. Well seeing who failed is not as bad because they can re-apply again but being fired is a different story as it is more embarrassing.

When I resigned from my trial as hxhd years ago i'm sure they announced it as I had quit, rather than the vague 'is no longer with us'.

From my experience at Habbox, normally it is worded in a way that thanks them for their time.
I know at least in the HabboxLive dept most trial failures are due to inactivity, whether that be lack of slots filled, lack of forum activity, etc etc.

Normally Trialists are notified personally as well. At least when I did my first trial (Mind you this was back with ,Jess,) I received a PM stating why I hadn't passed and things I could work on if I would like to try again in the future)

I feel like that is the best way to do it. Even if they are inactive, the extra 2 minutes of effort to personalize it and to state why to the person is good thing to do for both management and the departed staff member.. If they come back and they see that, they see you genuinely wanted them to succeed and it may help for future trials they undergo.

But at the end of the day it's at the Managers discretion. They should know the staff member better than most and understand their situation, whether they tried or not etc and thus should be sensitive to that fact. As long as they are maintaining an aspect of professionalism when thanking trialist staff I think it is sufficient.

As long as management don't start spouting on about why they are/aren't staff, it doesn't particularly bother me. And from a mod point we need to know who is gone from departments and can only really do that from announcements

I've never really thought about it tbh. I think for references and stuff it's good to see who passed and who failed so it's clear who is and who isn't staff.
