overhyped games?

Regardless of the onlone heists, which don't bother me anyway, I honestly don't think GTA V was over-hyped. It was literally all I wanted on a game (short of having kids in there that I can kill).

For me, I'd say Gears of War 2 and CoD Black Ops/Black Ops 2/any other FPS that I only bought because of the hype.

This is why I never, ever buy a new game now before it hits £10 or so. Nothing but disappointment in the games industry. Except GTA, I will always pay £40 for GTA.

has anybody played Elder Scrolls Online yet? I feel like that got a bit of hype and was looking to be the next big mmo but everybody I know that preordered it or whatever doesn't even play it any more and I haven't heard much about it since its release.

I never played it but yeah it was all hyped up due to Skyrims success then it failed apparently lol

The first Black Ops for me. Since then, I don't really get hyped for games with the exception of MGS V.

I thought this game was pretty good but The Last of Us was overhyped. I've yet to finish it but yeah. Quite surprised that no one has mentioned this yet.

dragon age 2, it was hyped a bit and they completely ruined it. I can't wait for inquisition, but I hope they havent ruined that too, with all this hype.
