Apps in the Play Store = 1,500,000
Apps in the App Store = 1,300,000

Incorrect, it would seem. Now, one could then argue over quality - I can't speak for that, but you are wrong regarding the number of apps.

Having said that, there are not many apps that are available in one store and not the other (that people actually use on a day-to-day basis).

Hmm, strange. I use a One X and have very few issues with apps crashing, or other bugs for that matter.

Having said that, I tend to avoid games and other 'non-productivity' apps, so maybe that is where issues lie?

Nope, don't have a single game installed:/ It didn't seem to crash as much before I reset it a few weeks ago to try and improve the battery life, it did improve the battery life but apps don't seem to be anywhere near as stable which is weird.
