Well based on the response in this thread anyone who used to say "no1 uses habbox rares!!!!!" before this update was utterly wrong

It seems a bit ridiculous to me that a lot of ranges that are extremely rare to come across have been removed - I'm no trading expert though, which is why it's hard for me to guide everything, and why we're relying on feedback.

The thing is, a lot of people are saying "RIP RV" and everything - a lot of the time, these are the same people who have been saying for years there's no point keeping it going. The simple fact is so few people are interested in joining the department and the majority of the values were completely out of whack.

I think the only time Habbox values were really used is when items weren't in the marketplace. Which... most of the time... they were and are. There's no way it's worth keeping the historic department running as it's a lot of time and effort for not a lot of reward. Almost everyone said they barely used the system through the last few polls, yet apparently now there's lots of people speaking out in favour of saving everything? Make up your minds please.

But anyway, I think that all items that aren't in the marketplace regularly should still be featured on our system.

There are a few items that NEED adding back, I think a thread asking members what should be back is needed as it just looks a mess currently.

Pinata Rares BOTH kinds (Guitars, Ducks, Balloons etc.)
StrayPixels
Dragon Throne Rare
Rare Yellow/Amber Rug (this is a must).
Ecotron (namely mushrooms and trees).
Blue Submarine

Without items like this, rv is pretty much pointless.

It's all well and good removing the old norms and crap, but seasonal rares and actual rares, too?

Like you, I'm also no trading expert but the last few polls indicated that there was a demand for the system still there, a silent majority so to speak and that's why the RV department has survived. It is perhaps one flaw of the feedback forum that it's filled with people who'll never enter comps regardless of what happens to them but suggest how to improve them, hardly play Habbo but suggest how to improve hxhd or events etc etc. Obviously I don't think that means that they should be totally ignored but managers do need to bear it in mind when they change stuff. I'll never use rare values cos I don't trade, hate it so much! I dunno how the RV staff do it
