    Default Halloween plans

I don't think we've had this yet considering how the forum has been up and down like a nun in a cucumber field.

What are your plans for Halloween and this weekend then? Me and my uni mates are coming back down to Liverpool for night out on 31st (Friday) and the 1st (Saturday) mainly because the clubs/nightlife here in this part of Yorkshire are awful. Looking forward to it, not dressing up and going for a meal in this poshhhhhhh restaurant on the Saturday night too. I'm just hoping it's not stupidly heaving like it was at freshers because waiting for a taxi in this weather isn't fun.

You? ...and if you are dressing up, what as?

We have but yeah err friend's gf is having a house party which is excellent because costumes can be more extravagant, costs like 12% of a night out clubbing, guaranteed to see people I actually like AND if I pass out I just get kicked into a corner and drawn on rather than arrested, super. Doing some zombie pirate type thing with liquid latex and paints and have just like 2 minutes ago decided to do my hair in loads of little twists with rubber bands or something to make it a bit mental now that it's long enough to work with and I have coloured contact lenses and I'm prob gonna buy a little £1 pumpkin and carve a penis into it to throw at someone

    I like halloween

I can imagine you putting loads of effort into the costume.

I cba with dressing up anymore, effort. Plus, if you buy they usually only come in size XXXXXXXXXXXXL which looks like you're wearing a tent.

Yeah I don't do Smiffys £20 plastic all-in-one costumes with nylon wigs or whatev I tend to either make things myself or buy separate pieces to build up an outfit that said the pirate jacket I have is an ex-hire from a fancy dress shop that went bust so that's a big cheat, but with halloween the makeup's the most important bit I think and it's FUN

Awww but that thread is for what are you wearing on Halloween, this one's for what are you doing

I've never rly done anything for Halloween before. My mum never allowed it because she says it's a 'celebration of the devil' so we used to shut up the front of the house and sit in the back playing cards. I wasn't even allowed to watch the Halloween-themed Scooby Doo episodes on on that evening

Anyway she's been away since last Wednesday this year and my sixth form had a halloween costume competition so I went to that as Morgana from Merlin because my friend got me the cloak for Christmas last yr. Annoying though because everyone kept assuming I was little red riding hood :@ and I bought contacts in an orangey-gold colour for when she's doing magic.

Still yh. Doing nothing because my mum is finally gonna be home on Halloween and will be upset if I'm not there to cook for her when she gets home.
