What are you planning on doing for bonfire night?
Does your local area hold an event and have a bonfire with fireworks etc?

My town had our annual bonfire last night, had a half hour fireworks display which I think cost like £8000 haha! The bonfire was bigger than usual made out of like 3000 pallets and almost burnt us to death, set fire to the grass which was hillarious. Had a pork bap, was yum!

it'll be my first time being around a bonfire night so am hoping it'll be fab! don't really know what happens round here, so i'm gonna have to look into it. my best friend from ireland is coming over though on the wednesday, so i'd imagine we'll be going out or something too![]()
well it really doesnt interest me, plus work the next day, but the football club literally a second down the road always has one, so if I did actually want to I could watch that from my window.

I'm sure fireworks are illegal iirc but thought your councils would do something
no one celebrates it here so nothing lmao
We have a few local places holding firework displays each weekend for 3 weeks starting yesterday.
I'll be going for a bike ride during the day and going with a friend to watch one of the displays at the seafront next Saturday.
Then we're camping out in the evening and returning home on Sunday afternoon after lunch.![]()
bella ciao
We don't have bonfire night in Ireland, I don't really get the point![]()
