nah i was with my mum when i went shopping so she was buying them, i was just picking stuff i wanted

she's bugging me to write a list of things i want with the rest of the money but might just tell her to get me a suprise

Because Christmas shouldn't be about making sure you get your moneys worth out of your parents..

I find it really odd how everybody knows what they're getting or chooses it specifically. Am I the only one around here that still appreciates the surprise? It feels more genuine at least. My great grandma is the best for presents, last year I think I got a dinosaur book, she's definitely the most eagerly anticipated gifter.
