what's your opinion on having friends with benefits??? do you think they can work without one person feeling something for the other?

have u had fwb and did it work for u? would you ever?

i don't think they work from my personal opinion i don't think i would ever be able to have sex with someone and not develop feelings, plus i have too much of an idealistic view on how i expect it to turn out from watching FWB and no strings attached, love both of those

i know alvi (lol) had a fwb in yr7 and they spent most their time in a park so can prob guess how that ended ;l pretty gross

these q's are annoying cause there are people who are adamant they don't work because it goes against their beliefs
same when people say ldr never work

i've had a few
one of them started to like me and i rejected him but we stayed friends and got over it. another i liked, he said we should stop seeing each other, did hurt but its not the end of the world
probably wouldn't consider it in future but was fun whilst it lasted

Yeah I've done it, never too long-term though. One neither of has feelings for each other but we get on (although we don't really have much sex, more petting), one I honestly didn't even like that much and one I fell totally in love with - tbf none of them involved much (or any in some cases) sex as casual sex isn't really my deal. So yeah, it's possible, but I don't really enjoy it. Prefer meaningful relationships.

I reckon in these situations there's always one person who has stronger feelings for the other person and they hope things will progress into something more. I'm not sure if it would be something i'd do, I could see it happening by mistake. I'd prefer to have a proper relationship instead of using someone whenever I feel the need to have sex

Definitely couldn't have a relationship like that long term. Perhaps a few weeks but not longer because a) they'd develop feelings for me, b) I'd develop feelings for them, or c) one of us would find someone else they want to enter a romantic relationship with so we'd have to end.
