if streaming off others that is fine (or if others provide a link), just mean i ain't gonna download a film each week.

magik*magik
you dont have to download, most sites offer the option to stream OR download
i'd suggest a couple i always like to use but i don't wanna get banned haa
It's actually a great good film but I thought I'd also suggest some different stuff. A lot of the people are suggesting quite known mainstream films so I think it would be a good idea to watch some stuff maybe unheard of
i've just seen The Cake Eaters and it was good to begin with but turned creepy as **** about 50 minutes in
wouldn't recommend to anyone else interested tbh
when does this start
I assume it starts when New Year hits
Can I just ask which Cape Fear it is? I have both on DVD anyway but I wasn't sure if anyone else realised that there are actually two. Maybe we could do both and compare the differences.

I'm going to keep taking suggestions until tomorrow at midnight. Then 26 films will be chosen through a random number generator, and the other 26 films will be voted on from Monday. The first film in the challenge will be posted on New Years Day.

@Kyle; i been dying to watch that film since it was number 1 on the list
I’m going to keep taking suggestions until tomorrow at midnight. Then I’ll do a random number generator to get 26 films selected (I’ll split the films into genres to make sure there’s some variance) and then the other 26 will be voted.@The Don; when are we going to vote for the films we want to see? Wait, is it a vote?
Also is it possible to organise the voting so we HAVE to have at least one film of every genre? Even if most ppl hate romance for example, 1 film of 52 won't kill anyone. I just don't want to be stuck with all 52 films being horror, thriller or drama. The reason i wanna take part is so i can see a variety of films i wouldn't consider watching on my own.
Haha fair enough, I’ll add it to the list.

Voting will start Monday, the first film will be posted on New Years Day
I had the remake with Robert De Niro in mind. Didn't even realise there was an earlier one if i'm honest! I would do both but I think there should be variance since there's only 52 films so don't really want to put two of the same film in.

@The Don; If you like you can make a new thread when announcing and I'll sticky it for you. Or otherwise I could sticky this one and we can continue from here?
