I can tell you I got ripped off big time with this PC, I payed £400 for the lot (excluding the extra 8gb ram+sound card which cost me £90 for the two) so ive spent nearly £500 on this PC. What would you suggest I upgrade next?

You bought a sound card?
Upgrade one of:
- Graphics Card
- Add an SSD
- Some faster ram (Seriously 800MHz?!?!?!)
Chippiewill.
Didn't we all warn you about buying that PC? Haha.
Thank about upgrading the Graphics Card first, then add more RAM, seriously!
After that maybe add a reliable heat sink (if you don't already have one), then maybe look into getting a better CPU.
What are you going to be using the PC for? I mean, for sure there are some general improvements to be made to it but if you can specify what you want to do with it then it'd be easier to tell you which parts to go for.
Haha I'd bought the PC before you warned me it was too lateDidn't we all warn you about buying that PC? Haha.

new GPU, and an SSD, set it up as a boot drive or secondary drive, up to you.
Get an SSD for Windows and the incredibly important stuff. Only bad thing is you can't use them as carelessly as you can with a normal hard drive. http://www.howtogeek.com/165472/6-th...-state-drives/ explains more.
