I'm all for weight loss but I've always thought to keep from putting the weight back on after a diet a permanent change in lifestyle is required.

I just can't do it. If I have even a little bit of chocolate I always end up wanting more. I've been told to have bits of dark chocolate whenever I crave chocolate but I'd just want more.I thought I'd just say I've found it impossible to completely give up chocolate and if I try I'll just give up 1 - 2 weeks in and binge for a day. I overcame this by setting aside two nights a week where I can eat half a small chocolate bar (a whole bar is normally around 35 - 45 grams) so if I'm really craving chocolate I know I only have 2 - 3 days left of waiting.
Oh that reminds me, stop drinking coffee/tea and if you can't try to cut down, have semi-skimmed milk if you have it with milk and don't have any sugar with it. I just drink green tea whenever I have a tea/coffee craving.
I guess it just depends what kind of person you are :8 Don't know which sarah will be.
10 pounds?? try setting a more realistic goal. It's safe to lose around 1 a week. If you wanted to lose 10 pounds in a month, you'd end up starving yourself. Even then, it would be almost impossible to do it without hurting yourself or developing an eating disorder. try for 10 pounds in 3 months. It's a long wait, but, it beats being tired all the time, hair falling out, body not functioning, and fainting. After a while your body's metabolism would go into hibernation since you are not eating and it's storing up for energy. (resulting in losing barely any weight.) Go slow. Don't join any websites that promote "Rapid weight loss: Lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks!" No. You'll end up fasting, taking "MAGIC PILLS" THAT DO NOT WORK Probably end up ingesting tapeworms, (not to be gross.. just.. I know, ew.) taking laxatives, etc., or just a very bad unhealthy diet. Those are/most likely fad diets. Also, don't join any websites that call for eating less than 1200 calories a day.
1. Exersice
2. Eat well (fruits, veggies, proteins, know your pyramid) Eat at least 1,350 calories a day
3. HYDRATEEEEE
4. Forgive yourself (Maybe you just wanted one cracker with some spray cheese. Few minutes later you are spraying out air and your out of crackers..)It's okay if this happens to you. Forgive yourself if you don't stay on track! It happens! Just get right back on track after! Just try not to do it all the time.
5. Know your body- If you feel run down, tired, sick, adjust your diet to fit your needs and know when you are done eating it's enough or if you need more. (not if you are just still hungry or feel full after one bite.)
6. Sleep well- maintain steady sleeping patterns and make sure you are getting enough sleep. 6-8 hours typically or however much your body needs.
Most importantly.. If you have blood sugar problems, (diabetes 1, or diabetes 2) or digestive problems (Chron's disease, Celiac's disease, IBS (Irritable Bowl Syndrome) IBD (Irritable Bowl Disease, etc.), talk to your doctor about it! A diet might make this worse. He/She will lead you on the right track. And BE HEALTHY..

10 lbs is possible because people tend to lose a lot of weight in the first week of their diet. Based on pics Sarah seems fairly thin so I doubt she'd lose an excessive amount in the first week, but yeah 10lbs in a month does happen to some people they just lose a lot in weight one then body adjusts to 1/2lb after that :} But yes you shouldn't aim so high, try to lose it at a healthy rate.

Can people not be suggesting bulimic habits when we're talking health tips please, I know you're trying to be totally hilarious and edgy but in reality it's damaging and not a lot of fun for people who actually suffer with eating disorders. Save it for brainless skype chats rather than flinging it around in the health forum
