Habbo Camera is back!

This is just another scam that habbo is doing to make us users pay coins to get materialistic things that are again... just pixels. haha, If you have "photos" then you can always just screen shot and then that way when habbo is long gone, you'll still have memories

Too many people are sitting on hoards of scripted photos waiting for that to happen. I doubt that Habbo want the bad press associated with having pornographic images floating around on their social network for 12 year olds.

Like the new camera, however I think they should make it so when you re-load the client your saved photos are there to purchase later.

It is a fair comment - hardly unreasonable to say 'finally' when someone takes so long to do something so obvious..

Most people crying about camera never used it. I have walls full of photos that were cute n stuff but honestly a screenshot is cheaper and if you're over 9 years old a caption shouldn't be needed. Nice to bring bk, good money sink for those that like to display their in game memories in game.

Bringing back the camera is something that's been discussed for a long time, but when thinking about that you have to remember why it was removed. It was open to attack from bad guys, and we simply could not allow that sort of thing to exist in the hotel.

The reason it took so long was because we had to prototype various ideas and solutions to find one that not only fixed that last cameras problems, but also did it in a way that was resource friendly, and wouldn't crumble when many users attempted to render photos. Finding a solution scalable to thousands of users is not an easy task.

So if anything, in my belief our developers have done a great job in bringin back the camera in a way that fixes the issues the previous iteration had.

Good answer. It's good to be back and purely the fact that people have dirty pics on the old photos meant it was not possible to bring those back to life, which makes sense!
