Habbo closes .dk .no .se hotels - but NO sign of merge

HEY im from Denmark, yet another user who loosing the hotel.
Some of us from denmark made a ticket and told them how sorry we are, how unfair it is etc, and guess what
We got 100 credit, 1 year HC and 1 year membership of Builderclub.

Contact the hotel, submit a ticket. We did in on Habbo.dk and got 100-200 credit, 1 year HC and 1 year builderclub on habbo.com

Everyone who is claiming compensation gets 100 credits and one year membership in BC and HC.

PS. To all Habbos, don't even bother to try seeking compensation if you don't even know Swedish, Danish or Norwegian and if you haven't been playing actively. Customer Service looks very close and makes quite strict assessments actually.

This is wrong. I asked some staff members on Habbo.dk why they're doing it, and they said it was because there wasn't enough money to keep the hotels up and running. Why didn't they just merge .dk, .no & .se together? Most of us danes understand norwegian and swedish, and they understand us. What's the problem there? More users, less hotels to keep up.

They won't merge so then users who want to still play will spend more money rather than lose it by moving everything over probs. Hence them being told to move if they wish to .COM

If only the whole franchise would close down but alas that won't happen for many years as Habbo, despite some speculation, is quite a strong brand.

Also, the Terms and Conditions may say that you are not entitled to compensation but in actual fact it would be against the law not to allow it - which goes for DK and SE, which are part of the EU and NO which follows the same basic principles as the EU.

The reason they won't merge all three is that it would still cost a lot of money for what is a collectively small amount of people (to close down the three hotels, create one single hotel and so forth). Further, you have 3 different economies which won't work when merged (rare prices etc) and then you have the issue that you will have to account for Norway which doesn't use the Euro so buying credits/coins will be difficult from a logistics, marketing and systematic point of view as having two transaction systems would cost too much, and the fact locating a HQ for the 3 countries would be difficult as again you have the EU and Norway issue revolving around employee laws.

i have friends from these hotels, they have told me they are now being offered 100c, year of hc and year of bc on habbo.com

however, its being done case by case so it isnt abused and only active users are receiving it from what ive been told by friends who use these hotels

isnt rlly worth cuz i think 100c is abt $12 in my country? but its better than nothing lolol
