Indeed - you are quite right. As I say, the price is more shocking for the normal watches - we evidently are not the target market for the £12k one!

Indeed, it just makes one question whether the capitalist world that everyone lives in is actually a good system to live by...

Literally milking money out of stupid people.

Say what you want about Apple but the attention to detail and engineering is awesome.

Although, I have no idea what this MacBook product line is aimed at. I would rather stick with the Air or Pro line.

Something that I commented on myself a few posts up. I can't see anything in the Watch that meets the same ingenious design, though.

I am not a big fan of the current Apple watch design.

Fair. I think Huawei have got the watch design the closest to what I expect, so far.

Apple will probably get better with the watch design over the years, who knows I suppose. Although I am not looking at getting one or any other smart watch. I am not a watch person haha

I love a decent watch - but it needs to be made of metal (ie. not leather, plastic or anything else like that!) - right now, though, I can't see what the advantages are to smart watches - I've managed to look at the time on my smartphone perfectly well for a long time

Personally, I think the watch prices are standard for any product coming from Apple, The sports one is reasonable but personally I prefer the use of steel on a watch then aluminium and am not a fan of the watch straps for the sports one.

Also I don't see the issue with people buying because of the brand, people do it all the time, happens with fashion all the time and Apple are marketing this in key different markets to appeal to more, e.g. fashion (It's already been in a lot of fashion magazines, Vogue ect and even has stands in Selfridges), but

True, I see no reason to buy a smart watch, especially not the Apple take on a smart watch. They're boxy and look as though they were designed for children. If I had to buy one it would be one of the aesthetically pleasing Android variants. But at the end of the day, smart watches are no match for the sheer power of a smart phone which these are just peripherals for.

Also, if I was that wealthy to buy a £13,000+ watch I would just buy a Rolex which contains more gold/platinum/silver, won't die after 24hours, survive more bashes and possibly be capable of going x amount of metres below sea level If you have that cash to splash, you'd do a sound investment on a real watch.

I can't figure out the MacBook.. I will take the 20% bigger MacBook Air so I can at least charge my laptop and phone at the same time with the USB port.

That being said, I wasn't expecting this at all.. I bought a new MacBook Pro 15" last week thank god they weren't updated!
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.
