What have they done to skill capes?!?!

They're being changed back, so don't panic. You will either be able to change the look of them by right clicking, or you can get a free override from SGS.

Oh thank goodness. I saw a group of people with weird capes... then I went to my bank. Shock horror! Who thought those capes were a good idea?!?!

and sticking to 07 isn't the best way to avoid EoC as it's just essentially copying every major development lol

They have edited the article with a "we hear you!" And have posed a toggle from retro to new capes due to be rolled out within two weeks. The only major development that has been copied is the ge and frankly because people were beginning to max it was required!
I do like the option to attach the hood the the cape.
