My mum has facebook and uses that frequently to catch up with whatever her friend's daughter's friend's girlfriend (some obscure nonsense like that) is doing.
My dad uses torrents and downloads films. that's pretty much it.

my mum and dad both use facebook and my mother has the tendency to share everything and add 'Shared xx' to it. like lame ass quotes or competitions where you share to wim handbags, make up and what not. it's handy because she has quite a big family all over the place so she can keep in touch with them, wish she only used it for that though

yh my mum has used the net for about as long as I have!! she used to big into fb games but not anymore and she uses yahoo messenger, and my dad is just really learning to use the net now so just general browsing from him. Tonight he was looking up youtube tutorials of how to cut a pomegranate pmsl.

My sister does that sharing thing, so annoying. Even my mother is always moaning about my sister doing it haha
