Easter Eggs - Habbo's hidden secrets!

Easter eggs. They're not just scrumptious chocolatey goodness - did you know they're also little inside jokes or hidden features?!


Often used as a laugh between developers or to hide secret messages (did you know Donald, Goofy and Mickey are in The Little Mermaid?). Habbo are no different! Here's a quick guide to Easter Eggs over the years...




The first step on our tour takes us back to the old system. It won't be around for much longer (visit ex.habbo) so check them about before you lose your chance! Start by visiting a user's profile and double-click their head and the page goes into disarray, with stickers and widgets flying around everywhere!




The other one I'm mentioning from old Habbo is such a classic - did you know if you change your motto to say "Crikey", you turn into a croc on the homepage?


They might be a bit cringy, but those little quirks is what makes those millions of pixels so enjoyable for us.


Well... it could be worse, they could have real Habbo Easter Eggs.

No problem Laura! By the way I just remembered about the command easter eggs!

Typing :iddqd will turn your whole screen upside down! This was the famous secret code if typed in the PC first person shooter game, DOOM, will give you God mode!
Typing :jump will make your user jump - probably the most pointless command

Its not so much of an easter egg that Habbo have implemented, but just something users have done themselves I still know some examples - I can show you if you like

Examples of furni in black? I knew of one but it mysteriously vanished. Then the account was deleted in the account deletion. The teleporter was actually in the black as was all the furni so when you went through the tele (as this is how you got access to the room) your Habbo was actually in the black too.

@lawrawrrr; you used to be able to do these sort of things on Habbo. Though a lot of stuff on here is no doubt client-side. Come to think of it @Sabra; that is featured in this screenshot may have an account on here. I think this is her in the screenshot that she either took all those years ago, or likely it was taken by someone else and she may have never seen it before.

Remember years ago at every Easter everyone worried about the Dragon Egg being released?

Funnily enough black dinos were one of the most scripted rares and Habbo ended up making them into actual rares.
