rip bunny i think if i saw it happen at the time i would feel devastated myself, but that would be cause I've never witnessed any animal being killed.

Of course I am, it'd be boring and dull otherwise.

Seems a bit much and uncalled for, as we don't really see or have an interest in seeing them killed, and they're usually cleanly killed rather than bludgeoned with a bicycle pump.

That said, it wouldn't bother me that much. I like rabbits and couldn't kill one, but having a brother who is a falconer kill a few on a weekly basis makes this unsurprisingly, bar the bludgeoning with a bike pump which is a bit odd.

Everyones going a little crazy about it, but then again I was thinking how would I react to it being on the radio. I'd freak out, if I'm honest. I'm well aware that all species of animals are killed on a daily basis for many reasons, but the fact it wasn't controlled (even though they said they were, if I was going to be executed the last thing I'd want is to be bludgeoned to death with a bloody bike pump) makes me feel really uneasy.

I get the statement they're trying to make - if it's okay to kill humans day by day and report on it then why not animals, but I think the way the idea was executed (oh what a inappropriate word) was wrong.

    I'm okay with this tbh.
Yes it was probably wrong to do it live on air in the studio, but the fact that it was killed doesn't bother me, but purely because it was eaten. If it wasn't eaten then it'd be a bit worse. But as he says in the video, it most likely lived a good life and animal welfare could get a lot worse.

I don't see a problem with this really.

Bit of an odd thing to do live on air. If they did it here people would go mental.

I don't even think rabbit meat is legal here LOL

Ok so when I read this I go like wtf but thrs some points made by dan and the others that make sense since it eventually became food; same goes with our chicken, our fish, etc so logically speaking, its actually... okay...?

Its just because this is publicised and everyone goes like omg this is so sad and cruel ANIMALRIGHTTS4EVA when tbh unless you're vegetarian swearing off all kinds of animal meat then you are eligible to make such comments

Guess I'm such a hypocrite too
