I'm not even in possession of the script any more.

Must say, if I had stopped watching the film before the end I was going to be incredibly critical. The ending took me by surprise though. Well done

Difficult to judge it really; relatively boring footage - but can't really do much about that, given that it was more of a narrative piece.
A friend of mine also does a lot of film directing and producing so not overly surprised at the quality etc. Good work getting such an established actor, too.

What was boring about the shots in your opinion?

Went in expecting nothing but came out wanting more. The only thing that didn't make much sense to me is that Harry started tearing up when he evidently didn't care all that much, but maybe I'm looking at it too one dimensionally. So, what's after this?

In terms of what's next I just directed a feature-length crime thriller with Vinnie Jones that'll be out either at Christmas or early next year, and I'm always involved in producing, namely Age of Kill which is doing the press rounds at the minute.

With the working title it may have sounded fairly awful but it was what it was, a very self-aware horror-comedy. It was a fun script and very nearly went into production, but sadly the producer passed away not too far into the process. Being in the position that I'm in now I wouldn't want to revisit that project.

Back on the subject of DONE IN, this was a nice coup last year.
