I thought there were a few single episodes? I know there are a lot of two parters but I don't think the entire series consists of them.

I really hope we have some single episodes. I wouldn't mind lots of two parters either as emily said but I can't stand it when moffat does things like whatever series it was with the Silence where everything links with everything and if you miss an episode you're screwed. Actually, you wouldn't be able to understand it that much even if you didn't miss an episode..
But yeah, single episodes are nice for a little bit of relief sometimes. And they're the perfect chance to slide a bit of comedy into the series too.

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s7/do...piDsV9xRMxazJdDetails have so far emerged about 8 episodes, divided into 4 two-parters - though Moffat has noted that some of these dual episodes are "just linked" rather than adopting the traditional two-part format.
"It's not just two-parters - it's occasionally taking one strand and keeping it going," he explained. "There's two-parters where the episodes are quite different, two-parters that are quite traditional - just to change the rhythm of it."
I do really like the sound of this. I was a classic who fan before new who came and while classic who is a bit two slow for most of today's audience, I really miss the longer episodes. I just find we never get long enough with plots, locations and characters which leads to great concepts being rushed in the end. Asylum of the daleks comes to mind straight away. I wanted to see daleks across the series such as the special weapons dalek, having a part rather than just being basically a prop. I wanted to see the doctor explore the asylum and all its horrors. It really felt like it could have been a two parter.
Articles have had Moffat saying that he could also be lying. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a young Clara
Interesting Dalek scene![]()
