He may have left Mystic Falls, but The Vampire Diaries' star Steven R. McQueen has found a new home in Chicago.

McQueen has joined NBC's Chicago Fire in a recurring role as new candidate Jimmy Borelli, it was announced Tuesday. The new member of Firehouse 51 will make quite the dramatic entrance on his first day of work, and Chief Boden is not a fan.
