I just tried to buy Habbo Credits, using the UK one as i'm not sure about my bank charges with other options, and the option for the 37.99 deal no longer accepts card payments, only paysafecards.
Has anyone else noticed this before? Is there a known reason why this is?

Hmm I still have the option for paying with card underneath the paysafecard option.

The Australian deal is the best one (~£30 including charges) so if you're still having trouble, give that one a go.
