Nice so far tho, are you gonna try and teach Gyarados an electric move when it can (can it on this game? I think it can learn thunderbolt or something)
I needed a good grass pokemon too and I bought a Breloom because I don't have anything even vaguely Fighting type either and it was a pretty sound choice I think; FlyingJesus picked it out for me and it had good IV stats and a great ability.

Surely you'd do better to keep vulpix and get it up to ninetales and get rid of raticate or persian (raticate tbh) as they're both normal types?

I would do that but you need a fire stone and I'm too lazy to wait around for one to drop and I'm not gonna be able to afford one in like 10 years

I caught a mankey, do you reckon it's worth leveling it up or just sell it?

Was thinking of getting something else for electric, idk what yet. as gyarados is pretty attack based. I was also looking at breloom seen as he learns good grass moves too, how much did you pay for 1 with decent nature/iv's?

And Mankey is ok I think though Primeape is obvs much better (evolves at lv 28), though you're limited on moves to fighting and normal. And it is able to learn two dark moves but they're a bit rubbish?? I don't really know though, I always ask @FlyingJesus; for tips about adding to my team

I paid 80k for lv 38 or 39 I think. It was more expensive than others but it had the best IVs by far, though you could get some decent ones for 40-50k.

I got naughty nature and technician for ability
I found good moves pretty limiting though but I've got Mach Punch (with technician it's a great move), Seed Bomb, Force Palm and I chose Tackle because of technician but Headbutt means you might make your target flinch so personal opinion yeah.

I've beaten Lance a couple of times but forgot that after that you have the "rival" to beat too so still not a pokemon champion. MORE GRINDING.



Team so far, marowak is pretty crap but I've given it a thick club so its attack stat is DOUBLED in battle which is nice, and it has false swipe which would be useful for catching rare pokemon if I ever bloody saw any
