That. That would be helpful and I can see that being a great tool. Would that have to work with having that auto generated posting on the specified section of the forum ? Can something like that be done?

im sure it could be seeing as in hxl forum they auto post the timetable reset dont they with all the hours
(unless my life has been a lie n someone sits n posts all the resets lmfao) although i dont think they'd be able to get it in the right section
theyd have to have a forum section for articles unless they had that n mods moved them to the write section idk lots of effort id expect though

they want people to still visit habbox.com (understandably) tho so they'd have to post a link for people to read it on habbox.com etcetc
i do agree with plebings tho how it could look worse just having 1 comment on the site instead of having it all on hxf where more peeps will reply etc

There's a debate between hosting the main article on the forum and hosting the main article on the site, and people will have differing opinions on what's best, mainly due to how they particularly use Habbox. From a management perspective though, from the very beginning I've made it very clear that articles will not be writing them on the forum as a first port of call, but using it as an advertisement tool. It's fair enough if you disagree, but that's the decision that's already been made.

It's a shame there's not more comments and I would love there to be more interaction on there, and comments from non-Habboxers as well of course, but I think this is a wider problem of attracting people to read the articles, and other kinds of advertisements and promotion is something I'm thinking about quite a lot. Martin's new subscription service is a great idea though as well, plus the threads and we get the automatic tweets when a new one is published so it's definitely not reaching NOONE, yknow?

But on the other hand, if we can generate the discussion on the forum then that's not a bad thing either. That's why the whole make-a-thread-based-on-your-article thing was implemented (quite a while ago) and has been kept up (with varying amounts of success it has to be said).

In general though, I think Martin is doing a fabulous job with Articles, which is why they were an easy choice for Department of the Month last month
