Alternatively for the random colour one, we could have it choose a random colour from every standard vip colour we've sold. Thats kind of related to the forum history then.

That's nice, iirc we had something like this on Habbcrazy and it only worked on certain browsers... May be worth checking

This should work in all browsers as its using a text-shadow rather than text-stroke which is an experimental property.
