Gotta say I'm very glad she got contractual emancipation and can do her own thing now but none of the "Taylor's version" releases have in my eyes been objectively better than the originally released tracks, if anything they sound a bit overproduced for the hell of it to me. I enjoy them for sure, but can't claim to find any of them a wild improvement, especially the ones like Forever And Always where it's very much originally a teenage rant and now has been made to sound more mature in spite of the actual content, it seems like it's watered down in that instance

. I KNOW my future opinion on everything that she re-releases will be 40% biased on everything around my affective memory towards the original, "Max Martin'd" versions but most of them ~do~ sound like leaked demos or as though you are messing with audacity and decide to pull one equalizer switch to an extremity
