Pretty remarkable, I remember it well hitting 6 billion.
I don't buy into the idea of overpopulation as a problem, more so the problem is where the population growth is taking place and where it is not.

That's a lot of people.
It only took 11 years to get an added 1 billion.
A projected 15 years to get another billion after that.
I wonder how they figure the projections for years to come, obviously math but still.
It’s mad, it took 123 years from 1 billion to 2 billion and only 11 years from 7 billion to 8 billion…
