I think it's hilarious how some people believe in all this "I hate the mainstream" stuff, and don't even realise that everything they preach is taught to them by other anti-mainstream idiots. Nowadays it's easier to find someone who says they don't like any mainstream stuff than it is to find people who do, so really the underground has because the mainstream by it's own hot air that it blows at people.

One day people will stop thinking that they're rebellious by quoting stuff about MTV.
Stfu, I'm not anti-mainstream. MTV ruined music end of. If you look into the history of this MTV bull****, you'll understand. And who the **** said I was underground? I listen to what ever I want you jack-off-in-the-box.

Hahahahahaha even though you tried to bad rep me for my comment (I say "tried" because you have no rep power), I'm going to give you a couple of extra green dots for that because it's so funny.

MTV and other such companies play music that people want to hear. If they didn't, they wouldn't get viewers/listeners and would go bankrupt. So, care to tell me how providing a service that people enjoy "ruined" music? As far as I'm aware music is still going, with new bands popping up all over the place. What MTV do is exactly the same as what radio stations do, did radio ruin music?

If a musician/band is broadcast all over the world, they are more likely to succeed, because more people will know of them and want to buy their music. MTV is one of the biggest broadcasters of music around today, and also have many comedy shows and such on various MTV channels. They are wanted.

why the *removed* is everyone here *removed* about rap? everyone likes different music. also; rap is NOT talentless, i would LOVE to see some of the people on this forum (especially the people dissing rap) to come up with a rap that would make them famous. tbh, i can't write songs or raps for *removed*. it's pretty darn hard. i like many kinds of music such as - pop, emo, rock n roll, punk, metal, hip-hop. yeah, i don't like dance or rap but neither of them are talentless because i doubt any of you here could do what those proffesional rappers do.

why would that be sarcasm? i for one apprectiate many kinds of music and give genres a chance before *removed* about them. there are many songs where i like the song but not the genre, hell, i even like some 50 cent. stop being so narrow minded, if you were a true music fan, you'd give all music a chance.

    end of rant.
