I find that really odd... Whenever I've gone abroad to another country, they don't seem to be gaming inclined. I wonder if the UK has something to do with it :S

If the PS3 allowed PS2 games, then it would definitely have a reason to be popular. So far it does seem a bit mind boggling.

Also, what exactly is good about Live? I've played online with my PS3 before, and the fact it plays online is surely enough? It can browse the internet, do trophies, PS Home... What else do you need? Seems anything else isn't worth the money, unless there are some amazing features...

Coheed would have a better argument if it was more PS3's shipped, unfortunately I must agree with above aha.

    That's your quote not GommeInc's.

Does it really matter at the end of the day? 360 has good points, it has bad points, the PS3 is exactly the same, if you don't agree with someone then that's your opinion, what it all comes down to is how many cookies you can put in your mouth at once.

I know FAR many more people who have a 360 (about 30 odd from my year) than people who own a PS3 (about 4 odd from my year).

Why don't you all just shut up? If you all spent more time playing your consoles then arguing about them you might have atleast a tiny bit of knowledge. All these companies can lie about their sales and say they have sold more than another party, it's called business.

The fact of the matter is, I have a 360 and I'm pleased with the play I get from it. I don't own a PS3 so I can't comment on it. All I know is that both consoles are brilliant in terms of "next gen" technology.

I can understand where some are coming from about the £150 upper charge for the PS3. Although I wouldn't pay this just so I can be assured my console won't break, I would pay around £50-60 more. The only downside with the 360 is that it can have hardware failure which is bad for hardcore gamers.
    Back for a while.

Thats likely true, also shows that the cheaper the more are sold.

Most people in my year have 360s and the odd 1 or 2 have a PS3.

    Isn't it the Wii?

EDIT: Gosh, the Wii is £179.99 while the Xbox 360 is £159.99 from Amazon, I'm sure the Wii used to be £129.99... Or was that the DS lol
