well then hes not trying to prove a point because hes basically saying 'can it does this' and im replying 'yes'. if iw as saying no, then fair enough, but im not

I agree with the point made earlier. Without jailbreaking the iphone wouldnt be an iphone for me. I wouldnt bother paying for all the app's I have on my ipod touch
but getting them for free is what makes the iphone appeal to me. The amount of apps available via apps like Installous is truly amazing.
Jailbreaking the iphone unlocks the true potential of the phone and allows you to do a lot of things that Apple restricts, therefore it is straight back up there with the rest of the phones in the market. Today you can get app's for absolutley anything and the platform is the best place to market your games.
I will be making an app soon to promote my website further and honestly believe it will boost my website hits enormously.

As for the amount of effort it takes the Jailbreak, it really isnt how it used to be.
Before you had to download the ipsw file and then use a program to jailbreak it, which involved putting your iphone into DFU Mode and restoring it using itunes and dont forget if it didnt work you had to restart the whole process.
Now? All you have to do is download one program and click one button and it is all done in a matter of seconds. Thanks to programs like Spirit.

Im not against android phone infact I was thinking of getting the HTC Desire because I quite like android but the amount of apps available on an iphone
is what sways me towards the iphone.
